As you see from my zip code, I live in Ocean Beach. Across W Pt Loma from my place, in Famosa Slough, is a remnant of the Ocean Beach Trolley. Many who see it do not know what it is, so It might be nice to have a sign identifying it.

Hello,
I am currently doing research for a book about the darker side of San diego history. My father in law, in OB since 1956 told me of a double homicide at an OB hotel during the 1960's still unsolved. Does anyone have any information on this? You may also call me at 619-917-1627. Thank you!

Hey OB Historicals - we're looking for old OB Rags and would like to meet with someone from the group - the archivist - and see which issues you have. We know you have some, as our friends have turned their copies over to you over the years. Please contact me.

When we lived in OB during the late '70s, there was an oriental guy with long, black hair who used to play the guitar behind the counter in The Black.

We came back for a visit last year and the same guy was still there playing behind the counter, only now, his hair was very grey.

My question is, who is he? Is he the owner, a partner? It's cool that the dude's still there playing.

I was wondering if anyone knows of an estate that might be rented for an afternoon picnic on the grass in OB area - preferably in a beautiful environment as it is for a wedding next year. Thanks for any suggestions.

A client's husband, Jack Lounsberry, is probably an octogenarian and told me recently that he used to be the OB Lifeguard just before Bob Baxley. Have you already interviewed him? Would you like to do so?
